Extremely disappointed. I recently saw Dr. Zuhosky. I saw him 6 years ago with sciatica. He was great then. I dont know if he's got too big for his britches or what??!! I had to wait 3 wks to get in. Then when I did, his nurse took info and x-ray. His PA went over my x-ray and examined me. He finally came in and did nothing. The only physical interaction I got was a handshake hello and good bye. He asked me what I wanted to do. I said you're the doctor what did he recommend. We went with an MRI. It took 2 weeks to get an MRI. I could'nt get in with him for 6 weeks. The office did call for me to come in to see another Dr which turned out to be another PA. He went over my MRI and discussed the injection. I thought he was relaying information from Dr. Zuhosky but would later learn at the time of my injection that he was not. I had questions but he did not return to the room. The nurse said Kelly would call for my injection appt. She did not get with me for another whole week. Which is ridiculous. I actually had to call her!! Then at the injection Dr Zuhosky had came in but never addressed me or anything. When I saw him working over at the counter I was kind of surprised. He never greeted me or anything. I asked him why he was doing 2 injections cause last time he had only done one. He did not turn around to look at me he kept doing what he was doing and just said "cause that's what they ordered. " I was shocked and said you dont order your own stuff?? The nurse answered for him ,and said no well sometimes. I think she saw the shock on my face. Then he said with his back still toward me that he agreed with what was ordered. So apparently he just does what the PA tells him. A PA read my MRI and told him where to inject me!!! I was mad. I know there are good PA's out there but Im sorry when it comes to your back and nerves you want experience. Thats why I waited 3 wks to see him. Then afterward he came in the room shook mine and my husbands hand and just stood there with his eyebrows raised. It was awkward. I finally said are you going to say anything. My husband just spoke up and asked if there was anything I could do to speed up the healing process. His answer was "pray just pray" that he believed the mind and body works together and if you believe you will get better then you will" Well I believe that too but he could have incorporated that with a more professional answer. We left and my husband said you are not going back to him. I know this is long but I want people to know of my experience. The shot did not work this time. I know they don't always work but I will be looking for a doctor that is hands on and truly cares for his patients. Not someone that lets everyone else do the work and he just makes an appearance when he feels like it.

I seen Dr. Kuhosky yesterday and he was a smart ass dr. Basically called me a liar and told me that pain didn't match my sentiments. I won't recommend no one to go to him. He might be a good Dr but his attitude suck toward his client. The office staff was great.
Dr. Zuhosky is without a doubt the rudest doctor it has ever been my misfortune to meet. As a patient, you mean absolutely nothing to him. Your health, your treatment, your well-being, are not his problem. I spent 15 minutes talking to him and they were the most pointless 15 minutes of my life as he sat there and completely belittled me and made me feel like an idiot for even bothering him with my appointment. Just some snippets from our conversation, almost verbatim: “the MRI you brought in is just a bunch of words written on a page that mean nothing,” “I know this isn’t what you want to hear and maybe one day you’ll accept it but it doesn’t have to be today,” and my favorite, “you want an answer to your problem but you aren’t going to find one.” The look on his face when he talks is one of snotty indifference. It’s not what he said that bothered me so much as the snarky, condescending, inconsiderate way in which he said it. If you want compassion, understanding, and someone who will listen and give you better advice than “this is something you’re just going to have to live with” then I would strongly recommend not setting an appointment with him because the only thing you’ll leave with is disgust and disappointment. Chronic pain is incredibly hard to live with and it’s not made any easier by having to deal with a doctor who could care less if you get better and I feel truly sorry for other patients who received similar treatment from him because I know I’m not the only one.
I seen Dr. Zuhosky and it was the worst experience I ever had at any doctors office in the last 40 years.
