Great staff, clean hospital nurses should never draw blood 3 nurses had a difficult time until they sent in a phelbotomist who did what she is trained to do. Emergency room should always have the phelbotomist draw the blood. Other then that pleasant experience.
I gave birth to my first born son in April 2017. I had a pleasant stay there. The staff were attentive and caring. The doctors and nurses were very friendly. Even though it was my first time giving birth, I didn't feel nervous or afraid because the doctors and nurses explained everything to me step by step. They made sure I was comfortable. I love that my newborn son was with me the whole time. My least favorite part would be paying the bill afterward haha. I had one issue with the bill. I wrote them a letter explaining the situation. The hospital contacted me the next day and worked on my case. A couple weeks later the issue was resolved with no headaches. I am very pleased with this hospital. I do recommend this hospital to family and friends especially mothers looking for a safe and loving place to deliver their babies.
Please don't take your children here. I came into the Er with three children since we are visitors to NC and my youngest daughter was my main concern being that she had a rash I didn't want to spread to her siblings. I was seen by a nurse and a Dr who rushed me in and out. The dr was the worst he didn't listen to my concern and this place was empty and he barely took a look at my daughters rash before calling it viral just to send us on our way. The next few days it got worst and she was seen at Levine children's hospital two day after being seen there and was dx with scabies but by this time it had gotten worst. I'm glad I'd followed god and not medicine. If I saw him today I would tell him some hurtful things. I feel so bad that I took her there and put her health in the care of this fake as doctor. I don't even write reviews but I have to let this place know how I feel. I wouldn't have put the 1 star if I didn't have to write this.
My husband recently spent nine days on the second floor. We could not have received better care! The nurses, resident doctors, hospital doctor (Dr. Amin), CNAs, nutritional department, and guest services specialists were wonderful! The nurses and CNAs were friendly and personable, often taking a few extra minutes just to visit and make sure we were OK. Thank you, Novant Huntersville, for taking good care of my husband!
The staff are so friendly. Hospital is very clean, large rooms have a sleeper sofa for overnight guests. The food is pretty good here too.
