Very disappointing experience for my husband. Would not recommend this faculty. Technician was rude and condescending. Mask didn't fit through out most of the night. He kept telling her it wasn't a good fit. Didn't get to sleep till 4am. Next morning she gave him a mask that doesn't fit current machine. Totally useless. Needless to say he didn't get most rest at all. Neither did I. Wish I knew her name, I would've added it to review
Great practice with knowledgeable providers, friendly staff, and access to nearby sleep lab and equipment supplier. I've been particularly impressed with Karen Casey, NP.
I don't usually write reviews that are negative. But, having do deal with the receptionist at this facility raises my blood pressure. I deal with people on a daily basis but have never spoken to anyone who comes across this rude and uncaring. I believe that people with these type personalities are better suited for 'behind the scene' jobs. Yes, I changed doctors so I would never be forced to speak with this rude person again.
I used this particular "sleep medicine" clinic in early 2016, when there was a pulmonary doctor running it. I was already diagnosed with sleep apnea from 2007 and was already on CPAP. I used this clinic as a second opinion type consultation, after some things changed after I had a tonsillectomy in 2013. They did not wake me from my sleep during a split night study, even after my oxygen asleep dropped way below 88% repeatedly. I'm a former lifeguard from my younger years, and have a ton of first aid/CPR/AED and oxygen administration training. Because of my past training/certification as "oxygen administrator for the professional rescuer," I knew the medical legal oxygen desat standard...its 88%. Anything under 88% is considered a medical emergency. As I mentioned they refused to wake me to put a mask on me and titrate me!! LOL What a bunch of idiots., They did waste my time, and they billed my health insurance and they got paid, plus a couple copays from myself. They are real real real lucky they "practice" sleep medicine in a state with such a super conservative tort system where the tort laws are on the side of doctors. I fired this outfit fast and moved onto somebody who actually wants to do some work.
