I have not had that feeling at the Denver or Mooresville stores and will be shopping there or the Home Depot in Huntersville.
If you need windows and doors installed in your home, keep your distance from the windows/doors department of this store. Jeff, the sale representative at this location, has no idea of what he is doing or saying, but rest assured you will get a bunch of lies and nonsense anytime you inquire with this individual as for the status of your project.
Lowes useless for anything other than basic hardware. Ordered granite countertops for kitchen, they fouled up site prep, very poor communication and long delay on order (during which we were without kitchen counter), then they broke slab day of install. Cancelled and went with another co. On another order, window treatments arrived for install without mounting hardware and plantation shutter had broken slat. Finally, ordered Christmas decorations online, after several days told tree had been discontinued, person didn't know why it was still on website. Strikes one, two and three. Never again.
The service factor on the other hand, which is what makes any experience one you want to repeat. Is sorely lacking, the staff just doesn't seem to care if the customer is there or not.
Even on the last line of customer service (the cashier), You know the one that receives payment for goods, the whole reason business is transacted.
Two Stars is reflecting the employee attitude, as a Lowe's all products are stocked and new ones readily available.
I am a loyal Lowe's shopper. I liked the floor layout at this stores. Great deals going on now. Must check out all the toys that are on sale.
As for Lowe's main Customer Service, their representatives keep repeating the same mantra that Lowe's is sorry for the difficulties you are experiencing and that the store manager will call you in the next 24 hours to fix the issue. Instead you will get phone calls from other people low on the chain of command that obviously can't fix anything and so on and so forth.
My suggestion to other customers is: just buy what's available in the store if you wish, but find yourself a reputable contractor outside Lowe's to get your stuff done, someone that knows how things are done.
